By accessing or using PREUVU ("Service") operated by PREUVU ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
PREUVU is a digital notary platform that enables businesses to:
PREUVU is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Certificates issued by PREUVU provide a technical record that certain content was generated or modified at a certain time by a certain AI model. Whether this satisfies any specific legal requirement is a legal question you should address with qualified legal counsel.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use PREUVU. The Service is intended for business use. Personal use is permitted but the Service is designed and optimized for business compliance workflows.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Your Business ID is your sole authentication credential — keep it secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@preuvu.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or are used for fraudulent purposes.
Free trial: All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using paid features.
Subscription fees: Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually (at your election) in advance. All prices are in USD. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated herein.
Payment processing: Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your payment card details.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial months of service. If you believe you were charged in error, contact billing@preuvu.com within 30 days.
Price changes: We will give you 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you certify. PREUVU certifies that a document was generated by a specified AI model at a specified time with a specified level of human editing — PREUVU does not certify the truthfulness, accuracy, or legal compliance of the document's content.
Your content: You retain all ownership rights in the content you create, upload, or certify through the Service. By using the Service, you grant PREUVU a limited license to store, process, and hash your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
Our platform: PREUVU and all related software, designs, and materials are owned by PREUVU and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
PREUVU integrates with third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, HuggingFace). When you use these providers through PREUVU:
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY PREUVU WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ANY REGULATOR, COURT, OR OTHER AUTHORITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREUVU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PREUVU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PREUVU and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) the content you create, upload, or certify.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay subscription fees after a reasonable cure period.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting account deletion from Settings or by emailing support@preuvu.com.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Sections 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide 30 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
